When I booked my dive trip to Con Dao, Vietnam, I expected beautiful coral reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But then I discovered something on Amadive Con Dao's itinerary: **Wreck Diving**. My heart leaped. This wasn't just a standard reef dive; this was journey into history.

I have to admit, I was a bit nervous. Diving a wreck is serious business. But the team at **Amadive Con Dao Dive Center** was fantastic. Their Divemasters provided a very thorough safety briefing. We covered safety protocols, the story of the sunken ship, and what to expect down there. The fact we were in such a small group immediately put me at ease comfortable.

Descending was magical. First, it was just a shadow in the distance, then suddenly it came into view. It is enormous. The ship is now a thriving new home, draped in corals and teeming with fish. We saw giant groupers hiding from inside the hull, and lionfish patrolling the superstructure. That feeling of gliding next to this silent, ghostly structure is hard to describe—haunting, awe-inspiring, and humbling all at here once. It's a time capsule on the seabed.

For any an Open Water diver (or higher) coming to Con Dao and looking for something more the standard reef, I cannot recommend this **dive** enough. It was the unforgettable highlight of my diving trip. A huge shout-out to the **Amadive Con Dao** team for their professionalism and for making this incredible adventure possible and safe.
